Bulletin From Bromham: Dateline
– Sunday 3rd November 2013
Here is our weekly round-up of events from Bromham:
1.
Gasps were heard in Bromham Crown Court at The
Old Court House when it was revealed that the editor of the Bromham Bugle, Mr
Randy Piglet, had been having an affair with the editor of the Melksham Mail
& Clarion, Ms Norma Stits, for over twenty years. The shock was related not to the compromising
of independence of two such august local organs, but to the fact that both
parties look like the back of a tractor.
2.
Further
developments have emerged this week in the curious case of “Stilegate”. It now appears that the man whose brother’s
cousin accidentally overhead the conversation in the back bar of The Wounded
Ferret between the man whose pigs once occupied the land of the farmer whose
wife was distantly related to the woman whose sister once cleaned at the house
of the policeman who was later involved in the case of mistaken identity at the
stile in the Upper Field, may have been mistaken. An investigation into the investigation
related to the Inquiry has now been launched.
3.
For
details of these and all other Bromham stories, don’t forget to listen to local
radio station Carrot FM.
