Drivel From Devizes: Dateline – Sunday 12th April 2020
Here is our weekly
round-up of events from D-Town:
1. Footballers
from D-Town United Maestros (DUM) have decided to donate 50% of their wages to
local hospitals. The NHS is expected to
benefit by as much a tenner a week. The
gesture was instituted after players heard the clapping for the NHS on Thursday
night, and mistakenly believed it was in honour of them NOT running out onto
the pitch.
2. And
all of The Vize came to a complete standstill at 13.08 when the sheer volume of
live-streaming acts across Wiltshire brought the Internet down. Police pleaded with singer/ son-writers to
simply get off the air so that ordinary people could play computer games and
down-load pornography as usual.
