Drivel From Devizes: Dateline – Sunday 1st May 2022
Here is our weekly round-up of events from D-Town:
1. Shame was brought on the borough this week when it was revealed that a Tory councillor had been suspended after repeatedly watching a female opposition councillor cross and uncross her legs, watching pornography whilst in the Council chamber, and picking his nose without the use of an official tissue. He said later that he was often bored by “massed debate”, was awaiting “the whip” and had merely been looking for a tractor bogey.
2. And shock news this week when it was announced that multi-billionaire E. Don Musky had taken over all social media platforms in D-Town. His new control of certain Facebook Groups brought gasps from most, abuse from many, and a seven-day ban for some. D-Town Radio began broadcasting an endless stream of Tesla-based music and adverts, and the D-Town International Space Station was inundated with requests for launch slots to try and escape the Inner Earth atmosphere of The Vize.
