Here is our weekly round-up of events from D-Town:
1. The leader of the SNP (Seend National Party) took politicians and journalists by surprise this week by suddenly resigning. Nicola Surgeon followed in the footsteps of Alec Salmon and his predecessor Fred Haddock. Other members of her party, such as Treasurer Peter Pollock, Secretary Alison Anchovy and Shadow Minister Mike Mullet, are expected to hang on to their positions.
2. And citizens in The Vize this week to hear of the death of Rachel Squelch, former film actress, model, starlet and pin-up girl. She first made her name by appearing scantily-clad in that film classic “One Million Years Before D-Town”. She will be sadly missed, and a collection in her memory will be held using her DD cups.
