Drivel From Devizes: Dateline – Sunday 6th March 2022
Here is our weekly round-up of events from D-Town:
1. The Vize has gone into over-drive in its attempts to prove that it is supporting the Melksham separatists in their glorious battle to defend themselves from the unjustified invasion by TrowVegas. Following the campaign to battle tanks with banks, D-Town retailers and citizens have banded together on other sanctions efforts. There will be no further bread deliveries (fighting guns with buns), no exports of yard-brushes (fighting missiles with bristles), and no cereal trading (fighting planes with grains).
2. Meanwhile citizens have been spellbound by the release of the latest, and last, series of Peaky Blinders, and have celebrated by creating a run on peaked caps, forming queues outside men’s hairdressing shops to get the “blinder” cut, and setting fire to every gipsy caravan within a five mile radius of the town.
